Fresh Flower Friday

A creative outlet I never saw coming. I arrange flowers every week and give them away to strangers. No rules, no training—just beauty for the sake of it.

I never considered myself creative. Not once. For years I performed, planned, and controlled every outcome in my life. Creativity wasn't in the playbook.

Then healing cracked something open. Somewhere in the middle of the hardest work I've ever done, I started buying flowers on Fridays. Arranging them with no plan. Giving them away to strangers at coffee shops, to teachers, to anyone who looked like they could use a smile. "May I give you some flowers?" The look on their face every single time—that's the whole point.

Small things make big impact. You never know the weight someone is carrying. Fresh Flower Friday became one of my favorite parts of the week—a small act of creation after years of performing someone else's version of my life.

When the silence speaks so loud in this home, I create.

“Kindness blooms wherever you plant it.”
